The Sims-Gant Family is based in Avon Park, Florida  but family members live in all corners of the United States.  The Sims ancestors have been traced to Opelika, Alabama where Allen Sims was a slave.  The Gant ancestors have been traced to Thomasville, Georgia where Peter Gant, Sr. lived.        Our Family tree is a work in progress.  If you are an acknowledged family member, please use this site to keep us abreast of any births, deaths, marriages, etc.  If you think you may be related please use the guestbook to begin to support why you think you are linked to a Sims or a Gant.        This is a wonderful way to keep abreast and in touch.  Let's use it frequently.
